The man behind the brand is James Coughlan himself, a guy who discovered his passion for barbering in 2008 and just went for it, Being offered an apprenticeship he grabbed the opportunity and Fast forward 12 years and you can see the results of his self-belief and hardworking ethics — He is a name that is beginning to become synonymous with style and swag. Add to that, he has inspired a loyalty in customers that is rarely seen today.

Opening Jimi’s Barber shop in Kilrush, was symbolic of Jimi’s ethos and vision. A warm interior comfortable seating, Music always playing, wide mirrors and sharp scissors where yarns would be exchanged. Combining these traditional elements with contemporary look, the business grew quickly, responding to an overwhelming demand.
